I have looked all over the web for a Platinum mans ring with a ruby stone. I know it sounds a little weird but hey... everyone liked different things.

The reason I'm asking is because I plan to propose to my boyfriend this coming June. Its not really an engadgment >spelling< though seeing as how gay marriage is not legal yet. Although I want to make my comitment to him.

Any info on this matter would be great. When it comes to rings and any sort of jewlery really I suck at finding anything.

THANK YOU!!

p.s. spare me the "gay" remarks. I'll report you!

Platinum? More difficult. I found two right off the bat. I did find some in 14K white gold. I picked ones that weren't girly and had classic lines. Something I wouldn't mind seeing my man wearing.

You could go into any jewelry store and check out the rings to see what they have. Some stores let you build a ring, where you can pick out the stone you want, and the setting you like. Even if you find a ring you like that isn't set in Platinum, most stores will change the setting for you (for a cost) but it lets you get the ring you think will be perfect for him. I think its a great idea, and I hope you two are extremely happy!

ebay has hundreds of rings if you find a ring but doesn't have the correct stone you can ask seller to change it or take it in and have it done at your local jeweller

purely look at designs on line yet layout it at domicile, on your front room. on line issues are too general. commence at domicile with a pencil and paper, and a reference in front of you of distinctive cuts of turquoise, and distinctive kinds of band (no depend if sturdy or with some thing lattice-like - inspect Tacori) then take your ideas to a custom jeweller and that they're going to help you with something.

Go to a jeweler and have it designed. They can do anything you ask. Good luck

Zales is really good, Kay jewlers, Littmaan jewlers...those are the top three that I know can do it.
