i recently went to a catholic funeral and it has intrigued me.

You can and you should. I understand parents wanting their children to share their faith, but religion is such a personal thing. I should be a personal choice.

Yes, you can follow any religion you want. That's guaranteed to us by the US constitution. If Catholicism intrigues you, you should research it more and see if it suits you. Only you can decide what religion is best for you. Don't let anyone try to do your thinking for you.

I would like to say yes. Unfortunately, upwards of 90% of humanity sticks with whatever religion they were indoctrinated with as a child. Given that, it doesn't seem that free will has much to do with it.

Of course you can, but the more you know about religions in general, the less likely you are to want to have anything to do with them.

Of course, it's your responsibility to make your own choices. Choose well, If you choose withing Christianity, read the New Testament, and compare the church you will join to what you read.

You can convert to Catholicism if you want to.

Check out the Orthodox Church as well.

well once you are old enough to make decisions for yourself then you are able to choose what religions interest you and which ones don't anyway if you are old enough then you can pick your own religion if you want to

Why not? I was raised one way, the older I got I choose to go another. and I feel totally happy and blessed.

It's very hard to convert to Catholicism, you have to actually go to Catechism (school) to receive your sacraments up to date.

It's more exclusive than people think.
