I go with Prezen, buy the Kia. Quality is important, but truthfully, neither of these vans made the top 5 most reliable OR least reliable from Consumer Reports. So I'd say either way, you're not getting a "pig."
The biggest issue here is safety, and the Kia is hands-down #1. The Kia scored GOOD, the best available rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in all 3 categories; front, side, rear. The Odyssey received GOOD in front and side, yet MARGINAL in rear (most common accident type). And, since you're carrying precious cargo, safety should win out. FYI, the ratings go in this order, from best to worst:
GOOD, ACCEPTABLE, MARGINAL, POOR
And $5,000 to boot! BIG difference! Put the extra dough in your pocket and buy the safer, smarter vehicle. And, if you're planning on keeping this for a long time, the KIA warranty is unheard of! 5 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper (with roadside assistance for this duration) and 10 year/100,000 mile power train warranty! WOW!
With your plans of keeping this vehicle for decade, resale should have NOTHING to do with your decision. BOTH these vehicles will depcreciate GREATLY over 10 years. So what's the difference between getting $500 for your Kia 10 years from now, or $1000 for your Honda? $500 spread over 10 years plus factoring the $5000 you saved! It's a no brainer!

The Kia won't last for 10 years. I know they have that warranty, but a warranty is only worth the paper it's written on. Look at Honda's track record. Also Consumer reports shows the Kia as being average and the Honda as excellent. I know 5k is a lot of money but you might spend that and more trying to keep the Kia on the road. Final thought, drive both and you will get a feel for the right one.

I say go for the Kia Sedona. The latest model has been rated very high in safety tests and you can't beat the warranty. Since it's a 2006 model you get a huge discount. Kia reliability has been steadily climbing over the years, check out this recent article that just came out:

With the high safety rating, great warranty, and the huge price break, Kia is the way to go.

Kia is one of the least reliable vehicles on the road. Toyota and Honda are far superior to any vehicle make, or you can always get the luxury version like Acura or Lexus.

Both of these vehicles won't last 6 years let alone 10 years. You need to look at what Toyota has to offer. Atleast the Toyota will last 15-20 years.

I would recommend the Honda Odyssy, being from Honda you can trust its superior quality, and you can be sure it won't give you trouble
