I've posted two questions and yet I have more :] I believe I had a vision of my brother, he skipped school and I had this picture of him smoking on a sidewalk pop into my head durring science. I thought it was just me being paranoid, he told me he quit. But I found out he skipped school, so maybe it did happen. Also I've been so scared that these things I see are real visions. I started reading the Bible once again and I was asked to go to church with a new friend. Is this a sign? Because right now I feel like it is. I feel at peace but then I think of the visions and I'm terrified. I'm not sure of what though...Am I scared of having them or am I scared of not having them? Does that make sense? Anyways your thoughts are welcome.

And I promise...I'm not making this up. What would be the point in that?

Hunter, we often see things in our heads (you can call them visions, or image from the subconscious) that concern or worry us, or things we are simply fantasizing or thinking about. When they seem to 'come true', it is just coincidence. Think of all the things you've thought of and dreamed of and imagined that HAVEN'T come true. Odds are that a few will eventually come true if you wait around long enough. It doesn't mean anything.

The Bible is just a book written long ago by people who were trying to convince the world to follow their religion. It has a lot of good stories in it, and it contains some wisdom, but it is no more true than any piece of mythology.

You should follow your instincts. If you feel you are being led to something, then go. If you find completion and truth in Christianity, then go for it. There isn't anything we can tell you here. The answer is different for everyone, for me, Christianity is wrong. Visions like these aren't very welcome in Christianity so do be careful but read, read, read, and you will know what you should do. Read every book, every story about every religion and you will find the answer you want.

It's the sort of peace which comes from God, which the Bible speaks of as the peace which passeth all understanding, which will keep your mind in Christ Jesus. This is for the believer in the Lord Jesus, for the person who has trusted Jesus Christ for salvation. go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/seeking_reality

I have had this happen too. If you are really close to a person, then sometimes you can tell when something is wrong even if you are not with them. It doesn't happen very often, though.

It ain't no fun too always be scared. Just think of a happy song, like 'Jambalaya' by Hank Williams - next time you get scared & it might help calm you down.

You're scared of why you're having them. Maybe you think you're going nuts or maybe you think God is angry about something.

I believe you, though.
