Friendship, companionship a partnership, someone to help you when you're down, someone to share your happy times with, someone to travel with and laugh with, live with and cry with. Mutual support and understanding. Someone to learn and grow with. Or not.

nobody needs a partner sex and love should not come in to it realy as sex well u don t need anyone 2 have a good time and love that is not a option you do not choose to love somebody or not you just do. People have relationships because they want somebody to share there life with on an intemate level (not just sex) companionship laughs company sholder to cry on trust. There are so many reasons the question you asked should be reversed why should i not have a boy friend

So you have someone to share everyday life with, which might mean someone to walk you to the bus stop or wherever in the dark, or someone to cuddle up to while you watch a film, or share fish and chips with, or be there when something bad happens. All that comes under love, by the way- the sex is your own business! What I'm getting at is that love and sex ARE the reasons that we have partners but there are more to those two words than you think.

Love is a powerful emotion not to be overlooked. Life without Love is a lonely thing.
No one is saying you need a boyfriend, or girlfriend or partner at all but it is benifial to your life to have one or more close friends to share your life with. Share advice and experiances and in return receive friendship, affection and love.
Touch is an important aspect of life, if you have no one close to you you won't recieve intimate touch which increases happiness.
Plus partners are good for helping you in your life, to moan to, to make you laugh, share moments with and as someone else said to get the spider from the bath. Someone to look after and for you to look after them,.

It is not compulsary to have a boyfriend. Having a close boy/male mate doen't need sex to make it work.
I would not know if my male mates wre gay, impotent, or not sexually intrested. I'm not that interested. But i like to have the male brain around to pick out the other view, for a bit of support.
The other reason if for Fun

You don't need one but as human beings we're not meant to be alone so we naturally crave love, affection. closeness and intimacy with another human being. There is also the primitive desire to mate. That's the reason a lot of women start to feel horny and very needy and tearful around the time they are ovulating and close to menstruation. Human instinct is a very powerful thing.

You don't need to have a reason, or a boyfriend for that matter. It's choice. And society. You are made to feel different if you don't have a boyfriend.
Your choice.

depending on the person that you are its really a matter of how you want to live your life and what paths you choose to take. its really a matter of personal choice and weighing up the pros and cons of a relationship sometimes its good just to have close male friends instead xx

Companionship, to cry on his shoulder & the biggie... To spend all your money!!! They're like investing in a child, expensive, scruffy, whinging, & whining, but the bottom line is you love them!!! xxx
