More than a little. I suggest that the church actually research the various studies that have been done showing that gay couples can raise children just as well as straight couples can. In fact, some evidence suggests that lesbian couples may be even better at it!

Well they had to have some reason so I guess that worked for them. Make it so they can't marry then use that as an excuse. And yes, very hypocritical all the way around.

The Catholic adoption agencies have been happy to adopt out to single gay people but when it comes to a stable committed gay couples they are not willing to adopt out...doesn't sound very consistent or convincing or that they have the interests of the child first and foremost over exaggeratedly homophobic Catholic doctrine.

It would be hypocritical to oppose gay marrage & then allow adoption.
Hypocrites say something, then do something else.

The Catholic Church believes contained in the Sacrament of Marriage. The sacraments are unique to the Catholic Church and that's teachings yet are all (7) supported by technique of the Bible in which all Christians trust. i trust each and every non secular crew supported the Pope's decision. Separation between Church and State continues to be known...notwithstanding, if a Catholic needs their marriage to be known contained in the Church, proceed to be an energetic member and obtain the Sacraments, their marriage should be blessed with the help of the Sacrament of Marriage. maximum Christian churches...as a count number of actuality, as do Jehovah Witnesses, Jews, and Arabs trust in marriage between a guy and woman. no longer in user-friendly words the Catholic Church vehemently adverse civil marriage, yet another non secular agency become correct with them...each and every church supported the Pope's position. to those of you who couldn't chorus from the Catholic Church & little boy attacks, PLEASE examine correct right here...PLEASE? I do want to ask why each and every time the Catholic Church comes up the verbal change at present adjustments to communicate of "little boys" and monks and "the pope likes adult males or little boys..." "Catholic monks are extra probable to be paedophiles than different communities of adult males..." that is merely undeniable pretend. there is honestly no evidence that monks are extra probable to abuse children than are different communities of adult males. The use and abuse of youngsters as products for the sexual gratification of adults is epidemic in all classes, professions, religions, and ethnic communities throughout the globe, as figures on infant pornography, incest, and infant prostitution make abundantly sparkling. Paedophilia (the sexual abuse of a prepubescent infant) between monks is quite uncommon, affecting in user-friendly words 0.3% of the finished inhabitants of clergy. This figure, observed contained in the e book Paedophile and monks by technique of non-Catholic pupil, Philip Jenkins, is from the most finished learn as a lot as now, which chanced on that in user-friendly words one out of two,252 monks considered over a thirty-3 hundred and sixty 5 days era become stricken with paedophilia. contained in the present Boston scandal, in user-friendly words 4 of the more advantageous than 80 monks labelled by technique of the media as "paedophiles" are honestly accountable of molesting childrens."

Well I thought I was pretty liberal but I don't think gaycouples should be allowed to adopt kids until they can figure out how to biologically have their own.
