More than a little. I suggest that the church actually research the various studies that have been done showing that gay couples can raise children just as well as straight couples can. In fact, some evidence suggests that lesbian couples may be even better at it!

Well they had to have some reason so I guess that worked for them. Make it so they can't marry then use that as an excuse. And yes, very hypocritical all the way around.

The Catholic adoption agencies have been happy to adopt out to single gay people but when it comes to a stable committed gay couples they are not willing to adopt out...doesn't sound very consistent or convincing or that they have the interests of the child first and foremost over exaggeratedly homophobic Catholic doctrine.

Well I thought I was pretty liberal but I don't think gaycouples should be allowed to adopt kids until they can figure out how to biologically have their own.
