What are some pros and cons of being the oldest child vs. being the youngest child?

The youngest is always seen as a baby (pro and con, innocent until proven to have a younger sibling, but also likely to have over-protective parents and older siblings.)

The oldest is seen as the most mature (pro and con - trusted more, but blamed quicker. Also, more likely to get inheritance in some cultures.)

The oldest gets to do things sooner (seems like a pro, but often a con, because you're the guinea pig. The parents are more experienced and make less mistakes with the younger siblings.)

The youngest can get away with murder, but it is the oldest who is best able to carry it out.

Oldest vs. a youngest child: the oldest must show their youngest siblings or cousins a good example for behavior, respect, loyalty or other kind of sympathy. if not then both youngest and oldest child will have bad habits and da youngest gets influenced or adapted by a bad habit from the oldest. which may end up into a
drug abuse or other bad things in their future that holds them!

not sure about the oldest because im the youngest. Being the youngest kind of stinks. It stinks because you can't really have that much freedom. And you get bossed around a lot.
