Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Laser surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Dental surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Dental surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

I had laser eye surgery about a year ago.... It does NOT hurt at all!!! This was one of the best things I ever did! I had "Custom Lasik" performed on both eyes... I was very nearsighted and could not see anything without glasses or contacts.....

I had the surgery around 4pm in the afternoon... it took a total of about 10-15 minutes..... this is from the waiting room to the surgery and back to the waiting room.... seriously.... I went home and ate, then slept through the night without problem... I then drove myself to the doctor around 8:00 the next morning and when they tested my eyes I was seeing 20/15 (better than 20/20) My eyes have since gone to 20/20, but I loved that I completed the surgery!! I highly suggest it!!!

My wife just had Lasik surgery a couple of weeks ago. She had eyedrops, 4x a day, for 4 days for the pain. They were uncomfortable, but I don't think it was agonizing of anything like that. They put a ton of drops right before the surgery too to numb it up, so during the procedure, you won't even feel anything.

I was pretty amazed, they let me watch from an adjoining room with a window in it. It had a closeup of her eye on a tv screen, and I do mean a closeup, yuck. But anyways, both eyes were done in like 5-7 mins, I couldn't believe it when she got up so fast.

She loves it.

Not at all!

They freeze your eye(s) so that when you are having the procedure you can not feel anything. They swab your eye, etc. and you can not feel it! It is really a weird experience, but NOT a painful one.

I've been told by many sorces that it is not painful but more annoying, like you have an eyelash in your eye. You know how that feels.
