skiing/snowboarding
bowling
ice skating
roller blading
batting cages
miniature golf
dinner
television series you both enjoy
going to the gym (if you're an athletic couple)
go to the museum/ zoo
It's a great idea to keep a journal of great date ideas. You could use this journal anytime you get stuck for a place to go.

I think if you live by a beach and its warm. Take her to a beautiful restaurant candle lit dinner for 2. Have roses sent to your table after your seated. Then after dinner go out to the beach and watch sunset while walking on the shore. Otherwise a dinner for 2 and flowers and maybe a movie would be good.

Cheap date suggestion. Buy a loaf of bread and take her to a duck pond. If a girl doesn't like to feed ducks/swans, she's not a keeper! Oh, bring some subway sandwiches and drinks. BUT DON"T TAKE HER TO A SECLUDED PLACE. That's got psycho written all over it. Oh, and don't walk through duck crap.

Find out what the lady wants to do. Call a few days ahead and find out what she has always wanted to do but just never has. It could be a cheezy tourist thing or it could be visiting a museum. Point is...if you really like the person and want to make it a special,memorable date, plan ahead!
