Gonzo - just reading about fellow protestors like yourself, who also inlisted. One guy stated how he joined to travel, and for college money. Then -- darn it all -- he was asked to serve! Seems like he doesn't want to serve ANYWHERE. Just wanted college money.

She gave comfort, aid, and morale boost to the enemy. She's a traitor. Period.

It's unfortunate that Jane Fonda doesn't realize that due to her actions in Vietnam she has absolutely no credibility when she says anything regarding the American military, and she never will, no matter how much time goes by. Her appearance at the anti-war rally in D.C. today just detracts from the message those tens of thousands of people are trying to get out, and it gives easy ammunition to the people who oppose them.
That said, anyone who tries to paint all liberals, Democrats, or everyone else who opposes the war with the same brush by making comments like this "She's a typical liberal, who hates America with all her heart." is simply displaying their own ignorance. Two thirds of Americans want our troops out of Iraq by the end of 2007. Like it or not, this is the mainstream view in America today, and if it's not your point of view, then you are the one who is outside of the mainstream.
And, before anyone starts dismissing me as "just another stupid liberal who doesn't support the troops", allow me to point out that I am an officer on active duty in the USAF, as is my brother who is currently in Iraq. We both think this war was a huge mistake, and we ARE the troops.

Im a soldier, recently returned from iraq, and i do not approve of how things are going there, and i understand the rights we fight for, like the freedom of speech in this country, but this Jane Fonda annoys the hell out of me. I know what she did, and i would really like it if she got hit by a bus, or kidnapped by a terrorist cell, than maybe she will wise up.

SCRE* that communist BIT*H!!! I hope her legs grow together and she gets severe diarrhea for what she did to the American POW'S. They gave her messages to ask for help, then she smiled as she turned them over to the Viet-Cong!!! I wish I could get her alone in a dark alley for about 30 seconds!!!Now she has to open her chanker riddled *** again? How fuc*ing pathetic!

As some one who served from 1966 to 1974, I had to kill people I did not hate. The biggest enemy we had, FONDA, we were not allowed to kill. Doesn't make sense.

I've never seen that footage, nor do I care to. Her reputation is enough for me to dislike her.

She's a typical liberal, who hates America with all her heart. Ignore her and people like her: they are irrelevant.
