they shouldnt be able to due to the data protection act, however i called to disc account details and they confirmed my adrs to me without taking my password which i found rahter worrying!! I guess it depends on who you talk to and how well trained they are, but it is against the data protection act to give any account details out....

No, only the companies have access to those details and they have to observe the privacy policy. This means they will only pass it onto law enforcement officials (and others as agreed in the terms of the contract you sign with them).

No, its against data protection for companies to give it out, but they can confirm the details. You can get the details if its an emergency, you'l have to get your local police or a Doctor to ring up.
