Every student qualifies for a stafford loan if you fill out a FAFSA, unless you have reached the aggregate limit, enrolled less than half time, or are in default on another student loan. Check with your financial aid counselor about what you do qualify for- it may be an unsubidized loan if your EFC is high. Also, if your parent applies for a PLUS loan and is denied, you are eligible for additional unsubsidized Stafford loan funds.
You may also want to check if you are eligible for a Perkins loan through your financial aid office. This is a 5% interest loan that does not require a co-signer, but funds can be limited depending on the school.
For emergencies, some schools offer an emergency loan for tuition and fees or a short-term loan for stuff like rent.

there are some loans out there that do not need a co-signer. Don't hold me to it, but try Student Loan Xpress, or Student Loan Funding. Did you run out of Stafford Loans, I don't understand why you don't qualify.

Been there. There have been times when no matter where I turn; there is no financial help of any kind. I pray and seek God's guidance and help. I also call all bill collectors and explain my situation. Many will work with me.
When my monies come in each month I pay the main bills first and contact everyone else. I have a few to catch up on now.
Do not borrow monies you cannot pay back. Best not to borrow at all.
If it is bill related situation...and it is rent or electric related, try social services. Go to your church and any places in your area that helps people.
