In order for everthing to work in this vast Universe, there has to be balance... light, dark.. black, white..
hot, cold...positive, negative... Good, Bad...
One will not exist without the other...even matter has anti matter.... so, basically, the devil is part of the opposite of God...I said 'part of ', not equal to...God is still greater. Good forces are balanced with the bad forces, and the devil is only part of the bad forces...Just like the Arch Angels are part of the good forces...God is the only being that is neither good or bad, but completely balanced, so to speak.. so there is no equal opposite of God..therefore, the devil is not equal to God, only equal to the highest angel, Micheal.
But this is just my opinion, not fact...
