Engage in pre-emptive strikes to prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons? No rhetoric, just opinions, please.

I think it's unlikely that the US will strike Iran's facilities. Not impossible, unlikely. I wouldn't be too surprised to see Israel make a pre-emptive strike if they feel threatened. And I think they feel threatened.

Yes probably, they will try. Success? Maybe not because of the different values of life and religion. I think that we should be more worried about Korea, they have 'em ready to go. You'de think that after Hiroshima the world would have learned a lesson or two? No morals what so ever. But hey we must keep faith that they will.

If diplomacy fails and they keep trading weapons technology and secrets with other nations, it might come to that. But we're talking 5 or more years from now. And you can bet we'll have the full backing and authorization of the U.N. security council before we do anything

They might, but the american government needs to keep their noses out of other people's business. In my opinion if they wanna worry bout someone making nuclear weapons perhaps they should worry more about korea who are testing their weapons.

It will be only a matter of time before ten more hostile nations obtain nuclear weapons.....are we going to keep bombing them all or try something else. Obviously a military response is NOT WORKING.

I personally dont think so at this point. they will try diplomatic channels for now because of the troop strength is pretty low. we are stretched pretty thin right now with Iraq and all..maybe in a year or two we will pound the heck out of them

We don't have the troops because they are all in iraq

if you mean like bombing iran? i doubt it and also really really hope not because that would be so hypocritical--bombing them because we don't want them to bomb us>? we should be setting a good example for the rest of the world not a bad one--bombing iran would make the muslim world so angry and make more terrorists
