This was before Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. The first Emperor to intruduce an idol of heaven ironically rediculed it so much that he was eventually struck dead by lightning. The ancient Chinese also had animal sacrifices similar to the Hebrews. There is also an alter built in Beijing called the Temple of Heaven, where a yearly sacrifice was made to Shan Ti (Heavenly Emperor).

Zadek or Adam was a universal Manifestation of God who taught that God was One. His teachings spread across the globe. This is likely where the Chinese received their information about the One True God.

I heard a fascinating sermon some years ago about bible truths reflected in Chinese characters. It seems that the original Chinese writing included references to scripture in the way the pictures represented words. I can't remember enough details. Hope this gives some insight.

Hmmm. Struck dead by lightning due to ridicule. Sounds like a bit of mythical lore to me. I suppose it could accidentally coincide with the truth, but science and logic would place the odds somewhat against it. Myths are one form of knowledge of course.

Didn't all religions come from the ancient city of Babylon in Iraq.
It was the center of false religon. From there astrologers and fortein tellers and all the foolish beliefs of sun worship and moon worship and down to our very day.
We even do it today in Christendom, the Sun worship is done on Christmas. From the evergreen tree to the star on top.
That was not Jesus birthday but the birthday of the sun god.
So all religion came from there so it is not supriseing that it is similar.

i might want to have a tendency to agree. Did you also recognize that the tale of creation and the Flood as recorded contained in the Bible is imbedded in chinese writing? also, they have an historic Flood legend noted as the "Hai-Qing classic" that's totally almost clone of the Biblical flood tale.
