Yes. It was probably either Phenergan or Compazine. They are both commonly used to relieve nausea and vomiting.

There are quite a few, but the risk-to-benefit ratio (not to mention the cost) makes them an iffy proposition for treatment of your normal little virus, in which the vomiting usually stops on its own in a day or so.

Maxcillon, amoung others. I take a pill, phenagren, for migraines. Unfortunately, if you are really sick and can't keep anything down, you need shots.

Phenergan, Comped, Gravol are the only ones I know of, the first two will make you really sleepy, though.
