Myspace has all kinds of people on it and millions of people log on each day, but there are people on Myspace that have been killed because they put up there real name, age and city they live in and the school they go to ...... i think its crazy to make a page and accept anyone that you don't know personally, it shouldn't be some big popularity contest.
P.S. Im not sure if you know already but there are actual police that make accounts on myspace and report people that are giving out to much info.

Myspace isnt really that bad. Yes you get some ppl that put all there info on there but there talking there own chance. I myself have a myspace and i dont accept ppl i dont know and Some pics that i post up are for my friends only. There are ways to make it so that just nobody can see ur page. I thinks its a great way to keep in touch with my friends.

Thank you for your contribution.... I agree. And maybe parents need to pay more attention to what their kids are doing.... MySpace is not just for kids, but it seems it is mostly kids on there. And another thing I notice is a lot of underage kids.... using an age so they get past the screening. Then they tell people in the "about me" section the real age. I saw a 12 yr old girl with tons of pics who listed herself as 22 so she can get the account. Then she says exactly which elementary school she goes to. Scary! Parents.....!!!!! Know what you're kids are doing!

I'm probably saying the same thing as everyone else but I love myspace. The people who are on their acting stupid are the ones with the problem. It is common sence not to tell people where you live and all that crap. It has helped me keep in touch with so many old high school friends. Its great!

I say friends! People, especially young people, need to know basic Internet safety . . . but fact is, it is a popularity contest! Me personally, I only have 16 friends at the present, and that's more than enough . . . you have to understand that there are probably way more myspace users than there are police in the world!

I know what you mean. I had to tell my little sister in law that she had too much info on her myspace and if she didn't change it, I'd be letting her dad know. I use myspace to catch up with my old friends and current friends, and mine is set to private cause i have little children myself and worry about the freaks on there.

That's why you add only people you know and set your profile to private. I don't let my friends even forward my info or pictures. And the friends I have on there are people I actually know.

I talk to all my friends on it It is a good sight as long as u use it responsably ( not spelled right LOL) if u don't ur just asking for it

Myspace is a place for friends. [well duh thats its slogan] But alot of harmful people go on there and do bad things. Its a place for friends but most of those "friends" are bad,bad people.

both i found people i haven't talked to in a while on there but i have been freaked out on there more than once
