Of couse it can be bad, but I don't think we will see any major problems in our liftime. The melting of glaciers could cause problems by changing the movement of the ocean and causing weather problems or disasters. I think we should worry more about eternity than the short time we are here on earth. I am a christian and I know no matter what happens I have a home with God!

It is bad news for plants and animals who rely on the climate that we have now. The weather will get much more intense, and a lot more destructive. The sea levels will rise. You can already see that the droughts are getting worse in some equatorial regions. Our future as a species in a warmer climate could be non existant.

It will be worse than anyone can imagine and it will happen much sooner than anyone thinks.
As someone else stated here, it is sudden change in climate that is the problem. When the sea level rises--even a foot or so in the next few years, the mass migration of people away from the coastal areas will put an immense strain on the economy of ever country in the world.
And that is just the beginning...

Very Bad. Think mankind has effected climate change, but also think there is a degree of natural fluctuation in temperatures (ie, transitions between ice ages etc)

Whole thing is an unproven theory.
When China really kicks off its industrial revolution in a few years time, any recycling or turning off your tv AT NIGHT WOULD HAVE BEEN A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.
1.5 billion people all burning fuel like there's no tomorrow....ooooh dear.

well to be fair if it does happen, then we can start from scratch, I say this because I doubt i'll be alive when it happens, so that is good.
But at the moment with all this random weather, it's erm...bad and annoying! So bad short term good long term!

On short term I think it is very nice; I dont like cold weather!!
But for the future I don't think it is that great, just imagine how the world would look if all the ice in Greenland melted.. the water would raise several meters in the oceans all over the world, big disaster!

it is bad for the future, we have less trees and temps are rising. THis means ice will melt, ocean levels will rise and sink islands and low level areas under water. This is real and no joke.
