What do you consider short for a guy? Because I'm 5'7 or 5'8 with shoes on... do girls think that's short? I guess I'm just a little self concious about my height.. because I know how the girls at my school think height is so important. Thanks!

You aren't short, but for some reason, are focusing on that. Maybe you could change the focus a bit (remember, good things come in small packages.) More to the point, you will be tall enough for one special person who thinks you are heaven and earth. Since you can't change your height, change what you can, which is the way you look at yourself. I am 5'2 and always thought I could never date a tall man. A friend set me straight, and I am now married to a 6:4 man. Does height matter...no, it only held me back from dating the fun guys, tall and short. I was so self-obsessed that lot of good people went right on by me.
there will be some who consider you short, but they also will find fault with your teeth, your hair, or anything else superficial. You don't want to date or marry someone like that, do you? After the dating thrills end, and a relationship settles, reality is what you live with. And you will always be 5'8, with a wonderful someone deeply in love with you. Because you are caring, considerate, and willing to be a partner, not just an accessory on her arm. Success with your new focus on your insides, not the external.

I am 5'6 and I do not think that 5'8 is too short for a guy. And let me tell you this one: My son was 5'5 until he was 16 years old, and only then did he start growing again. So if you are still under 18, chances are that you can still make a growth shot. If not, being a man is not depending on your height---and those idiots of classmates who like to make fun of shorter/fatter people should really ask themselves if they shoud do that to someone who has no control over something like that. No one has been asked on what they wanted to look like, how tall they wanted to be, or what race they wanted to be before they were born, so tell those who want to ridicule you to "k... your fanny" and move on to those who accept you for the person. Same with girls. If they think you are too short---well, you might have qualities that are 4U2Know+4Them2Findout.......

Depends on how tall the girl is. Like for me, a 5' 1" girl, thats perfect, but some may find that too short, or too tall.

I don't think your are short. You're the perfect height because I'm 5'6,atleast that's how tall I was last year!! It doesn't look too good with a short guy by my side!!!

I prefer a guy to be taller than me. I am 5'5". The only reason i have this height perference even is because i love to look up at them. Height really is certainly not a biggie in my book.

I like guys who are just a little taller than me. I don't get neck strain from trying to look up at tham all the time. I am 5'4, so 5'8 would be perfect to me!!!

we are all differnt I would not say you are sort mind you I am 5ft 5 in I think most women like a man a inch or two taller than them of course if they are wearing 4 inch heals that makes it 6 inches taller. but hight is not all that important personality counts much more.

No thats not short at all. Short for guys is about 5'3-5'5. i wouldn't want a guy shorter than me. So your about perfect height for a guy, so dont trip.

That's totally fine!!! I'm 5'5" and I'm taller than a lot of women my age. Ever notice how girls with tall guys will wear huge heels and it makes them talelr than their guy? Just shows it's not a big deal if we're taller than our guy

I'm 15 and 5'9 so yea.. u would be a lil short for me... But not for most girls... My bf is 6'1... My friend beth is like 5'10 or 5'11 and she's dating a guy thatz like 5'7. They're really cute!
