Personally, I like Mozilla Firefox the best, as I have experienced less spyware since i started using it. At the same time, Firefox blocks ALL popups, which Internet Explorer did not do when i used it. I think that most people just use Internet Explorer because it is an integrated part of Windows. If it wasn't, and everybody actually had to choose which web browser they wanted to use, I think that a lot more would choose Firefox, or Opera, instead of Internet Explorer.
Am I all wrong about this, or what do you think?

Think about this: Internet Explorer does not follow the W3C standards, which now means, that a lot of webmasters only codes there sites for IE, and that is why some pages can't be showed in Firefox, because of bad coding!

Firefox - the sheer enormity of add ons wins it. And there's a few more that come out daily. Stumbleupon is one of the finest things on the net and as far as I know you can only install it on Firefox. If you don't have Firefox with stumbleupon installed you are missing out on the delights that the net has to offer - check it out guys - www.stumbleupon.com

Definitely Firefox.

The I found with Firefox was that there were too many great extensions and I can't resist them. I end up slowing it down with so much stuff added on.

I've always know that you can have multiple profiles in Firefox, but I only found out today that it is now possible to run them at the same time - so I can have a profile dedicated to a specific task (e.g. like website building - with all the website building extensions and bookmarks in it.)

How can you get better than that?

With IE7 being such a Firefox clone, there's not much to chose from a basic usablilty point of view. Don't forget that Firefox only receives less security attacks, because those responsible for these don't see Mozilla as "the evil empire". I still use IE7, simply because its what I encounter most "out in the field". However, I do use Forefox, run from the start menu and not a desktop icon, for all my "personal" browsing. ;-)

Firefox definitely. I like the look better, and the add on features are useful. I find I have to use IE quite a bit though because lots of things don't work on Firefox.

Firefox,
but even more than that, I love Opera.

However with both, I still sometimes need to use IE, because they won't display all websites.

I agree, I haven't had a problem with spyware for a year! And I've added the AdBlock plug in to FF and its really speeded up my browsing. Plus I prefer the way that FF renders web pages.

the only thing IE has over firefox is the contract deals they made...
certain things will not work on firefox but firefox still kicks buttt and is my choice over IE any day.

I've found that many sites are not compatible with Firefox, which disappoints me, because I wanted to get away from the "evil empire". haha.
