Does anybody have any good suggestions for four 14 year olds to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Samaritans?
We were hoping to do something original that is also quite cheap.
We can get people to sponsor us, or we can ask for donations - either.
So, does anybody have any ideas? I stress that we are only 14 years old.

I think you should all shave your hair off. Cheap to do but people will give you money for it, it is a good cause just think of it that way and it will grow back. Try and get a local hairdressers invoved, they can do it for free while getting free advertising and good cause advertising. I was thinking of doing this for Children in Need this year, much to the surprise and disgust of my children!!

you can formally invite the different industralist, or the doctors or anyone u think u can invite, show them ur cancer research premises, give them a kind of presentation in which show them how this organization started, what its is doing and what its future plan, and how much funds are required. if possible get the short movie clip of the ppl who have benefited from this institution, and show this in ur presentation. i guess this will help
another idea that u can develop a kind of newsletter and send it to the houses in ur city (with the help of newspaper distributer) that shows the same thing as i described u above

tell your school, that u want to donate to research group for cancer, make up sign that say
" DONATE TO THE CANCER"
and tell how bad is then cancer, so they know,or give out information,(show pic,and data) that tell the people about this research group,like how it help people?

u can organize a talent show and earn people who register.
u can do a bikini car wash too.
