No not True.. in fact it will slow the effect of drinking.
for it slows down the stomach and will keep the alcohol out of the small intestine witch is where alcohol is absorbed into the blood.
Tum's go good with ,, Margaritas BTW.
Roadies work just the same DRINK ON !!!

I'm not aware of that. I just take Tums after drinking. Yeah I admit it.

Gaviscon advance is very good. If over the counter remedies don't seem to work for u, then see a doctor and get a stronger medicine on prescription.
