wondering if i should just go for it. also if it helps anything he is really shy and is always complaining about how bad of luck he has, any ideas?

Sounds insecure and afraid to be shot down. If you are comfortable doing it, then go ahead and make the first move. Not like we're living in the 40s anymore.

Just make the mood more romantic. You know take him out to a movie, offer him a home cooked dinner. If after all of this he is still complaining, well you have another problem on your hands.

well you have been going out for just one month you guys have to get to know each other better i have been going out for 4 months and have only huged and held hands once.( well i hug him every day and if he is shy just take it slow you dont want it to go to fast or something that hurt you could happen)
