I believe in God and my faith tells me that there'll be a breakthrough in my life, but at times I still find myself cry over my lonely life. I am a very outgoing person, but ever since I had to move abroad for a further education, I don't have a social life anymore (even though I am still the same fun girl infront of my family). Sometimes I find myself pitying myself and crying on the basement. How to assure myself that my life really is going to change one day if only I could just be patient and put all my worries in Christ?

Emotions always happen for a reason, and in most cases they are the result of certain thoughts you're experiencing (whether or not triggered by a certain event).

You described that you sometimes find yourself pitying yourself and crying over your lonely life. Maybe it's worth looking into that matter?
From what I understand you miss your social life abroad. Is there a way to change that?
If not, then maybe there is a way to deal with it? Trying to accept the idea that you might live a lonely life at the moment, but also keeping in mind that it won't last forever?

I think that as soon as you can accept the current circumstances, you can live in peace with it. And if you can do that, your emotions might get more stable.

Then again, keep in mind that it's still legal to cry every now and then. ;) Take care!

Put on your big girl pants and take control back in your life. You moved abroad to further your education and you have time to wallow in your basement?! Get busy and make the most of the experience. And whatever you do don't use the P (patience) word. Because God will give you something to be P about! Now stop it and get busy!! Learn a language, a culture, meet some locals, study, do some research, if this is "boring" to you, then just go home...what are you there for anyway!

It may be partly depression, but since you've moved abroad for your education you might also be feeling some culture shock. Culture shock takes a bit of time to overcome At first you start out in a country with a high - everything is new and novel. As you stay longer things that were once novel are strange, grating, and annoying. You hit a low. You can become particularly sensitive and become very emotional about things that wouldn't normally have bothered you. Eventually both the high and low feelings even out and you find an equilibrium.

Then declare the sensation beside the point and that it would not incredibly exist with the aid of fact all of the universe and all of the international is connected. think of of the sensation as purely an electric powered impulse. attempt to go into the indoors maximum, quietest recess of your ideas the place there's no longer something. on the tip of each ten 2d count selection attempt to flow deeper into the comfortable state, stay there for extra or less ten minutes. regularly this works in a extraordinarily empty room that has little muddle or noise. maximum folk regularly cope with hiding this way of feeling after 30, yet many people nonetheless cry all of their lives. It incredibly relies upon on if that is incredibly mandatory to cover this sense. in line with danger you shouldn't sense in charge approximately this emotion, in view which you're inspite of each little thing, nonetheless in childhood. I'd agree with the other posts - you need to take control of your life rather than waiting for something to happen. I wonder if perhaps this is also causing you to question your faith. I'd definitely suggest you speak to a doctor or a therapist, maybe even a religious leader as well.

It sounds as though you are depressed (and this is not a lack of faith) depression is an illness. You need to see a psychiatrist and a therapist to work out your problems.

Go ahead and cry. If God didn't give us the ability to cry, we would all be very mean people. It's ok .
