The website Filehippo has a large collection of free antivirus programs. Here is the link http://www.filehippo.com/software/antivirus/
The 3 most popular free antivirus are Antivir, Avast and AVG. Bitdefender and ClamWin are also good free programs but they do not offer real time protection like the other 3.

try this site. The software is AVG I have used it on my windows XP based system for a couple years now and have never had any trouble. Hope this helps.

Choose avira, avast or microsoft security essentials. Do not go for AVG, as it does not have rootkit protection in free version.
