ok so i am a pretty big girl and i have to get my tonsils out so i was wondering if you really lose weight when ur recovering ...i am not even talkin about a drastic amount just some....if you kno the answer then plz tell me

You sure will. U want be able to eat good solid food for a while. U could easily lose 10 - 15 lbs. You can drink insure & lose a bunch in 1 month. You will be getting enough vitamins but after your stomach shrinks the 1st week go on & take advantage of it. Start a diet, I strongly suggest the insure diet for 1 month 20+ lbs. Good luck & hope this gave U something to think about.

I got mine out several years ago. Yes, you will definitely lose weight during the initial recovery because you must eat soft, cold, liquid, or easily digestable food. Lots of jello, ice cream, etc. It's a good time to consider it a cleansing, and jump start your diet from there. I lost about 10 pounds the first week or so, and by not overeating, I lost 2 pounds a week thereafter.
