There is this guy that I like and we hang out maybe 2-3 days a week for about a month and a half. We have not been out on a "real" date. We just hang out in his dorm and cuddle and watch TV and such until about 1:30-3 in the morning. I like him but I want to know if he just views me as a hook up (although we have not kissed yet.) i don't want to be just a hook up b/c I like him and want more. How do I ask him what he thinks is going on? I really enjoy being around him but know i have to cut it off if he just wants to hook up. How do i figure out what he wants with out being really blunt and just flat out asking? and when is the best time to ask? and how do I get up the courage to ask knowing that I might not like the answer?

No he's tried to kiss me..many times. In fact I just told him that "I just feel like i need to get to knoww you better but I do like you." And I just let him kiss me on the neck when he wants.

When I just started dating the guy I'm with now, I said to him one day, "My friend and I were talking and she asked me if you were my boyfriend and I didn't know what to tell her, what should I say?" That way it's not you wanting to know. Or, talk to one of his guy friends and see if he refers to you when talking to them. Most likely if he cuddles with you, which most guys just skip if they're trying to hook up, and if he hasn't kissed you yet, he's in it for more. I dont think he just wants a hook up if you hang out that much and he hasnt even tried to kiss you yet.Why not ask him one night to go out to dinner and see what he says?You might see more by the way he acts with you in public how he really feels about you.I wouldnt ask him outright I would just make a move and see what happens naturally.

Its really tough when you like someone and that person might veiw you as a hook up, but if you have been with him alone and he hasn't made a pass at you as yet, may be he likes you too and is afraid of messing up. Valentine's day is coming soon, you can ask him then. Give him a card expressing your feelings and asking him about his.
