Courtnie, my opinion of the best marriage proposal is ANY proposal! I believe that no matter how thought out it is, both of you will always remember it for the rest of your lives. My fiancee was asking around to his friends what would be the best way to ask me, and they all provided him with, "Take her out to somewhere special, candles, wine, etc..." But instead, he did the exact opposite! When I was standing in the bathroom getting ready to go out to eat with him and his parents, HE CAME INTO THE BATHROOM, GOT DOWN ON ONE KNEE, AND ASKED! For me, I think that was the most unexpected time (if he had made a huge ordeal that night, I would have known something out of the ordinary would happen--such as a proposal), and aside from being unexpected, I'll have a great story to tell my children and grandchildren!
To me, it doesn't matter how he proposes, or even how much thought he puts into it, but how much you two are in love!
Good luck!

Treat her to an all-inclusive day spa (massage, manicure, pedicure, facial, etc, etc) during the day. Have a beautiful dress waiting for her that you bought her (and chose for her personally) that evening...... then take her out to a lavish dinner in a beautifully set restaurant.....then take her on a private helicopter ride over the city where a bottle of champagne is waiting for you both. After the first toast-
PROPOSE.

You think she'll say NO?!?!?!?

C'MON that's a BEST ANSWER right there!!hah,hah.....

The best wedding proposal is the one where the person you want to spend the rest of your life with asks you to marry him (and you say YES!). Anything else is just "fluff" and completely unnecessary.

I like it, asking her father for his blessing will not only give you respect to her & daughter but her entire family. Showing your respect for her and family is a nice touch and should get the answers your looking for. Sounds like you have thought it out well, good luck.

Something that relates to things that are important to you both -- and of course from the heart.
