Last night I went out with work colleagues and met the boyfriend of one of my colleagues. As I walked into the bar he already knew my name as he introduced himself.
Towards the end of the night, he spoke to me, saying:I'm his idol, he admires me a lot and that he hopes that his girlfriend won't dump him to be with me!!!
What could she have possibly told her boyfriend about me for him to say those things to me???
Could she secretly fancy me???

No, I don't think so.
But she probably have lots of respect for you and probably doesn't realize that she refers to you more often than she should.
Besides, you know how men can be idiotic sometimes, he probably wanted to be nice and ended up saying more than he meant.
His poor girlfriend would more likely be horrified if she knew.
There are some people you can look up to thanks God, without having any hidden agenda. Simply there are so few of them.
Besides, coming from a girl, I think it's great. Girls tend to be rather bitchy or jealous should another one be able to do things well and right!

that could be a possibility, or he could just have been really nervous and was trying to make a good impression, i wouldnt worry too much, i would wait and see next time you all go out, when the introductions are all over and its all more relaxed, im sure there is nothing being said or done behind the scenes.

Sounds like she's only been saying good thngs about you. Don't think into it...not good to date a colleague, especially if she has a boyfriend.

maybe shes lonely and doesnt have much friends to talk to her bf about except you or maybe shes jealous of you as she thinks you and her bf have alot incommon etc and so cant stop taking about you through envy?
Whatever the reason is if i was you id probably keep my distance :o)
