No, it is available over-the-counter under its generic label, and in many common painkillers like Advil, Excedrin, and Motrin.

I can't think of any reason why Ibruprofen would be banned, nor have I heard anything about the FDA ruling against its usage in over-the-counter medications.

No it is not. You can still buy Motrin (trade name for Ibuprofen)

no it is not a banned drug.it is available as ADVIL.tablet which is 200 milligrams .available without priscription in U.S.A.
