The question is: Guests at a pizza party are seated at 3 tables, the small table has 5 seats and 2 pizzas. The medium table has 7 seats and 3pizzas. and the large table has 12 seats and 5 pizzas. the pizzas are shared equally. At which table does a guest get the most pizza?

I'm stumped....How did you figure it out? HELP!!!!

7 seats 3 pizzas 3 1/7 slices each
12seats 5 pizzas 3 1/3 slices each
Each pizza being equally cut in 10 pieces

Well, I would think that you would just divide the number of pizzas at each table by the number of people sitting at it.

So, the people at the small table would get 0.4, the medium table would get about 0.43, and the large table would get about 0.42. So, the people at the medium table would get the most pizza.

Take the number or people and divide it by the amont of pizza they have at their table. When your done the table with the highest # of pizza should be the one that eats most.

If the pizzas are shared equally, it doesn't matter where a quest sits. Shared equally means everyone gets the same amount.
