Yes, some religions are a blend of two. I think the key word here is PRACTICE more than one religion. This allows you to have more than one religion. An examples of blended religion are: Messianic and Jews for Jesus. Also Buddhism is often practiced by people as a philosophy while practicing another religion. We are able to believe and pratice what we will, that's why we are given the power of choice in religions.

If one of the 2 religions is Christianity, then the answer is NO.

If you are talking about all the other religions except Christianity then yes you can be Islamic and a Buddist. You can be Mormon and Jehovah Witness. You can be New Age and Mormon. You can be a Mason and an Evolutionist. You can be an Atheist and an Evolutionist.

Only in Christianity do other religions not mix. Basically there are only 2 religions - Jesus Christ or Man.

Sure, most people I know that profess religious beliefs obviously worship some god of their making, plus worship themselves--sometimes more than their god. Then there are the ones who try to cover all bases---the christian people who read fortune cookies and astrology crap, and also worry about spilled salt shakers and black cats and Friday the 13th. Most people are very unsure of their own faith if they have any, and since most religions are so conflicting in their teachings, the poor people don't know what to do. Some religions even encourage it: Catholics, for instance, permit carnivale and other ancient, anti-religious practices. The whole New Orleans Mardi Gras and other similar events around the world such as in Rio, are designed to allow the faithful to sow their wild oats and worship pagan stuff, to get that out of their system each year. What a bizzare idea, of course.

Sort of. A person can adhere to the practices of two similar beliefs, and not violate either, but his belief will be what it is. For example, if a Jewish person were to convert to Christianity, according to the teachings of Paul, he must continue to adhere to the Jewish practices. To outside observers, he would still appear as a Jew, though he must also adhere to the principles of Christianity, and in his heart, if he believed in the trinity and the deity of Jesus, he would be a Christian.

Children raised in families in which the parents are of two different religions often follow the practices of both belief systems.

We see all religions coming from God. All religions have a part of the whole truth and they each play an important role.

If you see the Messages of the different religions you will be able to see that they really don't oppose each other but indeed are from God.

Put the Messages together and it forms a new Path: Eternal Divine Path.

Man made dogmas separate - God's Truth unifies.

I think it has to come down to this,do I believe that Jesus was who He said He was,and if I do then following Him is all the religion I need,if not then I will probably be in and out of several others searching for the truth, for me though Jesus is the truth, the way and the life.

Can a man have 2 masters? He will either love one and despise the other. A man cannot serve both.
It's not possible for two "religions" to be blended together. Even "Branches" of a faith have some very different beliefs.
