when your mature enough to handle the responsibilities of it...babies are forever and sex changes everything...if your not sure the ones close to you will give valuable insight if you listen.

16 if there is going to be any physical activity involved.
If 2 kids are going out to watch a movie or have fun, but
the attraction is innocent, any age is ok. Usually when
we describe dating, I assume you' re are talking about
people having sexual attraction to the same or opposite
sex. Most people 16 are not quite mature enough to
handle relationships involving close physical contact and
sexual issues.

it all depends on how mature you are. Personally, I think that 16 or 17 is a good age.
