Wheare can i find Beachwear ( like Thongs ) in Bangkok or in Phuket? Are they of good quality and what would be the price tag?

Go to any shopping mall in BKK. You can get them ANYWHERE.
Phuket is a tropical island full of beach resorts and foreign tourists. You will find beachwear EVERYWHERE. Just go and look for it!
Quality depends on how much you are willing to pay. But generally, they are ok - as long as they cover your body and you are not topless or you do not wear it to places you shouldn't (like in the shops or worse still - go visit a temple) then you will be ok.

They are for sale in every department store you go to. And even in street markets/night markets/whatever (such as Kao San Road, Silom, Chatuchak). Cheapest might be 150 bhat -250 bhat (Kao San Road) .. but for the ones with a brand or for those sold in department stores, it will probably be more expensive. As for Phuket... i'm sure it will be very easy to find beachwear since its by the beach!

Beach wear in Phuket surely. There are many dive shops which can fit you out.
