Ideas for games, and prizes would be nice. Or maybe some cute treats to make them.

we play a game called pass-the-parcel. This may be for older children, but what you do is wrap up a prize in paper, and then wrap more layers of paper around that, each with one smaller prize in it. The kids have to pass it around as fast as they can while the music plays, and when it stops, they freeze. Whoever is holding the package gets to undo one layer!
Another game you could play is musical statues. The kids dance to the music, and when it stops, they freeze until it starts again. If they move, they're out!
You could do an art project with them. You could have them decorate their own party hats and then wear them. Or you could have them play with chalk outside and make a huge picture!
There are lots of things you can do with children this age, with or without their parents to help. Good luck and have fun!

Two-year-olds have short attention spans. Give them balloons and some space to run around and they will be fine. They can handle simple games like ring-around-the-rosy and duck-duck-goose.

I always think that kids need simple birthday parties, not the themed bashes people have these days. They are so small they won't remember it anyway, but they can have a lot of fun for very little money and surprisingly little effort.

One tip: don't get a clown. Kids that age are totally freaked out by them and utterly unable to control their fear.

We didn't have games that young because it would be like herding turtles. We had a jumper for them to play on and put some balls and toys out that worked fine....

I personally wouldn't give 2yr olds balloons... choking hazard.
