No. The legal drinking age is 16, and that is only for beer, wine and "alco-pops" such as Smirnoff Ice, Bacardi Breezer, etc. When a person is 18, then they can buy hard liquors.

No. The legal age for beer and wine is 16, and you have to be18 to drink liquor. Privately they may drink at any age but publically, they can't...though a parent may give a 15 year old beer or wine if they're out in public.

Yes, that is true. Different places actually have different regulations. There used to be some states in the U.S. that set the drinking age at 18. The a federal mandate said it had to be raised.

I had beer if I wanted it at age 6 and could even go and buy the stuff with no problem. Never made it special enough to become a drinker.

Yep but from what I've heard the age limit is not enforced that much.But drinking over there is...normal.They don't consider it a big deal.
