i have lost of weight due to bein ill, depression, endo, and psorisis im just under 7 stone and stugglin to put it on i have some milk shakes i get from the docs and only manage about 2 meals a day any tips please

hi there, that sounds really tough! the best advice i can give you is to try and eat carbohydrate rich meals, pasta rice potatoes etc and mostly as a supper due to the fact that these store when you aren't active. milkshakes are great cause they are easy to take in, but proper food is important to add in. you don't want to turn to sugarey or fatty foodscause that will be unhealthy weight, rather eat richer sauces on pasta more peanut butter, little bit more avocado pear which is all healthy fats.. lots of bread and dense foods when you feel like eating. try get yourself into a routine of eating regular meals a day, this will help! baby milk is also sometimes helpful to add a bit of body fat but please check all of these with your general practitioner first. good luck and listen to your body!

Try including more carbohydrates in your diet. More potatoes, bread and pasta. Also more protein such as cheese, full fat milk etc. Try eating more red meat and try yourself to junk food ie a pizza or an Indian or Chinese at least 2 times a week

Two meals a day plus the shakes ought to get you back to a healthy weight, just keep it up :)

Try to mix in extra milk powder with your drinks. When you can eat, try small portions of very high calorie food and always use sauces/gravy. Use butter instead of marg. Eat eggs fried in butteron Fried bread. Try porridge with maple syprup in.

Drink 1 cup of camomille tea about half an hour before every meal. It will increase your appetite.

eat lots of proteins, iron and veg and fruit to nourish your body etc. dont listen to the comments that tell you to eat lots of fat and sugar that will NOT work and you will end up making yourself very ill. It will take time but you will get there.

Eat more frequent meals, even if they are small.... quality calories, not empty calories.... and still excercise to get your metabolism in the proper shape

hello kas k this is jasmin x i think it will take time to put the wieght back on your body needs time to recover from illness just eat healthily and in time you will be back to normal
