The people who run the food and refrigerator industries are not the same people who pass out health advice. They collaborate with each other for their own interests, which is profit-- and if you eat at midnight, you're eating more food, thus buying more food. The people who warn you not to eat midnight snacks are not a part of the profit circle. It's just like tobacco companies and the people who tell you not to smoke.
