Not at all! and please don't try it, that would mean that you are subjecting your body to a loss of 30lb in a month that would send it into a state of shock! a pound of fat a week is a much healthier loss, if you had to attempt a pound a day kind of loss the only difference you would see would be the way your body stores the fats when you start eating normally again. it is a much longer term goal i know, but i promise that if you take it slow and one step at a time you\;ll see the results and they'll stay off! 6 small meals a day, with supper being the lightest. exercise for at least 20 minutes every day and lots of fluids and enough sleep so that you can recover.. good luck and listen to your body...

It's a serious health threat to lose a lb. a day. You should only ever lose 2 lbs. a week! Get a book called "You On a Diet" by Drs. Oz and Roizen. You'll learn how to lose weight without damaging yourself. Every time a person goes on an extreme diet for too long, they weaken their immune system. My friend went to Dr.Bernstein's Clinic and lost a ton of weight, but, at one point, developed an infection, had to be hospitalized and nearly died. And why? Because her immune system was so down. She had only been eating lettuce and a bit of chicken for over 6 months. They were giving her B12 shots and she was taking vitamins, but still her body got really run down. She went back to her regular doctor after all this and her doctor warned her any diet that requires you to have a vitamin shot or makes you eat only a few foods daily, will cause serious deficiencies. She told her she was lucky that she didn't die. It's not funny playing around with your weight. Do it the right way! Bob Greene's books are another good source on dieting the right way. Get Greene's "Total Body Makeover" and do it the intelligent way. You'll pay for doing it too fast and the faster you lose it, the faster you'll put it back on! It's a lifelong process and you do it steadily and slowly and you'll keep it off forever!
