Oh, I believe in the bible, because I can see it, touch it, pick it up and read it. I just don't believe that anything contained within it is evidence of a supreme deity.

There have been at least a dozen predicted armageddons in the past century according to the ones interpreting bible prophecies, which immediately nullifies your assertion that ALL prophecies are true.

Besides, the word "prophecy" simply means a prediction of future events, sometimes said to come from a divine source, and prophecies are not necessarily true. Ask anyone that has used prophecies to buy lottery tickets if their predictions were accurate.

Since prophecy does not equal truth, your assertion is even more fallible.

Could you please define which Bible prophecies are true? Oh, and did they find the ark from Noah's day? A ship that large would have left some evidence, since the ship would have housed two of ALL the animals on the planet, plus food for 375 days - can you imagine the size of that thing, larger than any other ship ever built and somehow it's back did not break apart like they have problem with the super tankers with.
If you can show me the prophecies and the proof then I will look into it. However, until then my opinion is that the people in the bible had schizophrenia among other mental diseases, and it is just a horrible piece of fiction. Actually, most of the old testament stories are taken from Sumerian and Babylonian religions. All the bible, both new and old testament, is plagiarized from other sources.
Oh and who is this scientist?!?!? Let me guess..........Dr. Seus.

The reason why a lot of people do not believe the bible is for various reasons. The first being that people say that it was written by humans, but divinely inspired. The second reason being that the bible forces people to look at there own lives from God's point of view and that makes a lot of people very uncomfortable.Third the perspective of the bible is totally opposed to that of the world, the bible Tell's people that they cannot just live any way they wish but that there are standard's GOD expects us to adhere to

Scientists in general do not believe that bible prophecies are true, or that the bible is a revealed document. It is important to your question to reveal which scientists to whom your refer.

Also, and I am of this opinion, many people who do not believe in the bible, are equally skeptical of the theories of scientists. Some, go even farther and simply do not care about issues such as intelligent design or evolution. Such people are apathist in that regard, but, they may be very active or concerned with the effect that the giants of prophecy and evolution have upon their liberties and children.

It is written that in the END TIMES "eyes and ears will be closed. What are we finding? "That all the Bible prophecies are true". Like in Noah's day many will be lost, not all, because more and more every day are reaching out to Jesus. Unfortunately it's not the so called intelligent people that are the majority. They refuse to allow anything intangible to pierce their souls or heads even it means eternal life and salvation. You and I know Him and his Greatness try to pass it on. Our greatest gift is trying to help others LIVE. Wouldn't it be great if they could know our joy and peace???

"Even when scientists find out that all the Bible prophecies are true?"
How expected... you can't name any scientists who have made this claim.
Isn't it a sin to lie?

People do not believe in the Bible because it is an old, outdated book that has no relevance to intelligent, civilized people living in the 21st century.

The only scientist you are referring to are generally pretty shotty scientists. Most are members of ICR.

ICR requires all it's scientists to sign statements saying they will ALWAYS side with scripture, even when evidence goes against scripture. That isn't unbiased. That isn't trying to be unbiased. Any scientist who isn't trying to get to the truth, the unbiased truth, no matter if it goes against what they believe or wish it to be, shouldn't be a scientist. The ICR scientists are unethical to claim to be scientists and sign the ICR statement.

People do not believe in the Bible because they have allowed Satan to blind them.
The majority of scientist would never admit Bible prophecy as being true, even if they could prove it. Some of the prophecy's have come true, but people do not understand them, so they are overlooked. There are people in this world who will always refuse to believe. There is nothing you can do for them. So, concentrate on those you can help.

They don't believe the bible because Satan has blinded them to the truth.
John 12:40 He (Satan) has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts.
