My name is Vanessa and I am starting Macramé lessons. I don't understand very much yet about macramé, but I know a web site about macramé with free patterns and knots :

there is also a Brasilian site about art crafts. You click on Macramé ( it's down on the left side ) and you can check about knots. It's witting in Portuguese, but the knots you can copy.

Go to a Barnes and Noble Bookstore, magazine section actually. There are many craft mags, some are macrame orientated
