If you're looking for something rather educational: The Atlanta History Center has some great exhibits including large ones about the Olympics and the Civil War, The Michael C. Carlos Art Museum on Emory University's campus has the largest collection of Greek artifacts in the world and some interesting traveling exhibits, and the High Museum of Art has an exhibit on loan from the Louvre through 2007.
If you're looking for something tourist-y: The CNN center, The World of Coca-Cola, Centennial Park, Underground Atlanta, Stone Mountain, Little 5 Points (for more alternative culture)
If you're looking for a great Atlanta eating experience: The Flying Biscuit, The Varsity, Cafe Intermezzo, The Vortex, The first Chick-fil-A
If you're looking for some clubbing: The Velvet Room, Eleven50, Compound, Aiko, Tabernacle, Club Bed
