on my arms, instead of buying new heavier weights i just increase my reps. I feel the burn and can tell muscle growth.

should i buy new weights?

depends on what your goal is.

if you do more reps you can increases the muscular endurance of the target muscles. if you are training for strength and size you have to increases the working "loads" that the muscles use or they have no reason to "adapt" by growing larger.

It depends on what you want to do. If you stay with the same weight and do more reps, then you well get toned. If you increase the weight, and do the same reps, you well get toned for that amount of weight. If you do a heaver weight yet with short reps, then you will build muscle the fastest, but when you stop using that much weight you will lose some of that muscle. When I went to the gym, I would lift/pull as much weight as I could for as many reps as I could. In about a month I could max out every machine so then I started doing more reps with that weight.

no dont bye new weights just keep using the ones u have id ur feeling the burn then its working
