How old are the both of you? If his parents are kicking him out of his house simply because he refuses to share his parents' religious beliefs, he's better off not being in that house anyway. People do crazy things in the name of their god (including disowning their own children if they decide not to share in their superstition).
You have to ask yourself if you really want to try to convince his parents to take him back. After all, they "blame his atheism" on you, right? What makes you think they're actually going to listen? You can give it a shot, but that's the only warning I'd give you.
Just be a good friend for now and stick with him through this troubled time. No kid should have to go through this because their parents are off their religious nut.

Have your friend talk to his parent's priest/ pastor, and arrange a sort of intervention. Ask the priest/ pastor (I would avoid telling this person the friend is an atheist, say "struggling with belief/ faith") to invite the parents to the church or his home, and then see if with a little church-inspired guidance the parents won't take your friend back. Atheism is quite wonderful and although it may be difficult for your friend to shut up about it in front of his parents, it may be time to lie a bit and see if the parents will reconsider if your friend pretends to have given up that belief, or perhaps gone agnostic instead. Most heavily-religious people would rather have a kid struggling with faith than outright denying the existence of god. Good luck.

Ok, so his parents are mad at your for making him an atheist, but then they kicked him out of the house so he can live with you?
Sounds like you get to spend a lot more time with your best friend. Cheers!

You know, sometimes our actions are wrong. Being that this is a young adult, his parents are wrong. You can't convince his parents to take him back in. Maybe now is the time for both of you to decide if this is something you really believe in.

i do not extremely imagine the Bible is saying tattoos are an concern -with reference on your second quote. It says now to not create a graven image, and through which i'm quite particular it ability idols/statues. and under no circumstances to worship reported pictures. pictures are completely fantastic, for it is all tattos are, epidermis pictures. until eventually he's were given pictures of fake gods and is bowing right down to them -which I rather doubt, because you reported he's an atheist- then there is no longer some thing incorrect on that account. As for the first area, you could't extremely end them from having sex, yet try now to not be too preachy and verify out only being supportive, and with somewhat of luck on the end of the day he will locate his thanks to faith. because you're only one human being. all and sundry is sinful through nature, and are incapable of saving anybody's soul. We only can't do it. only attempt to lead through celebration and be someone he can turn to, appreciate and appreciate. no one likes to sense as if they're being judged, the Bible obviously tells us now to not guage, so do not choose your chum ok. he will locate his route.

Why? They sound like self-righteous bigots. He is better off away from their influence.
But if he really wants to go back, and if he is a minor,he should go to the police or Child Protection. It is illegal to throw a minor out of the home.

Remind them how loving and caring christians in general should be, and parents specifically?
Also tell them that every week they're doing this will equal a year when they're old and desperately want to see him again, and he'll refuse.

Tell him to tell his parents he's "seen the light." Then when he's gotten what he needs out of them to tell them the truth as he walks out the door and into his indepenent life.

With parents like that he is better off now..... you do not say how old you are but if under 16 they have an obligation to take him back.
