Number one don't treat them as any lesser than you.Two Be a friend and do not push help on the blind person. Offer help if it is not wanted let it go. Just basically be there for the person. do not ever make them feel like a charity case.

Does he/she need help? Just because someone is blind doesn't mean they need help. But if you believe they do, just ask.
