Please go to the Robet Craig website and try his hairdye. My hair is dark brown and I once died it so that it would be lighter brown, and it came out cherry red!! So when I went to the hair salon, they bleached my hair, and then died it light brown. Well the color kept coming out of my hair, and we I had to go and get it died again. I finally found Robert Craig hair dye, and that is the only thing that restored my hair completely to its normal color, without a bad smell, and with softness and shine.

As it already has red in it you could use a brown maybe light or med. Dont use an ash brown though as ash colourant has no red tone and it could go greeny. If it does then rubbing tomato ketchup on your hair will take out the green tinge funny enough. I have blonde hair and the chlorine in swimming pools can turn it slightly green and i use the ketchup b4 and it worked ok

Call the 1-800 number that was on the box. They'll be able to help you out. They will tell you what other colour to use and when you can use it without having your hair turn a funky colour.

If your not comfortable with doing that, then go to a professional. They can fix it for you.

Or, simply give it a few days and see if the colour grows on you. You might end up liking it.

I did that once. I turned my hair a blonde color when my hair is naturally dark brown. I just chose a darker brown than my normal color, so when I dyed over the blonde it was my natural color. It won't turn your hair green. Just make sure to rinse out all of the hair color and use shampoo after you have rinsed the color out.

If you want to go brown then you need to go red first otherwise it will go green! get a red hair dye then put a brown on it,or you could put a toner on it ,silver would be best as it would calm down the blonde.Shaders in boots and superdrug do a silver and its only 99p,it's a wash in wash out but as you have bleached it your hair is pouros(stripped) it would take the colour longer.

to stop your hair from going green you need to put in a colour that has a red in it like a chestnut after a few washed it will start to wash away realy quick you will need to do it again , again with the chestnut colour then after a few washed the redish out of the chestnut will fade down so when your roots come back throw you can just put on a light brown

Clairol 118A , buy two boxes just to be safe(you can get it a wal-mart), use one box first then second box to fix lighter areas....get your hair trimmed in a couple of days to get some of the deadness off, your hair should be fine- been there. Good Luck!

You're best bet is to go to the hairdressers as they would be able to get it right, cos doing it yourself yo will make it worse trust me i know, (been there done that) its basically bleach that you have put in you're hair, i think that they would need to make you're hair a bit darker, but they will not get it the way you want it straight away.
Goodluck

Go to a local salon and have THEM fix it. I've dyed my hair so many times I've lost count... and every time it comes out wrong and I try to fix it by re-dyeing it, I always wind up at the salon anyway to get it fixed. It'll be easier and less expensive for them to fix it now than if you try to fix it yourself. Been there, done that... I've had pink hair, green hair, gray hair... all because I wanted to save money and do it myself!!! Always winds up costing more to get it fixed.
