Boys say a lot of things they don't mean - "I'll call you", "We'll meet at eight", etc - so I don't think that a mere proclamation of love proves anything. Wait until he has proved that he loves you in his actions, when he puts you before all other people in his life and treats you like you deserve to be treated, when he never breaks a promise and when he would rather be alone with you than out with everybody else he knows, then you can consider having sex with him.

And then you wait until he proves his love by promising to be true to to you in front of all his friends, family, and God. Then you know he's a keeper and that you can go ahead and have sex. But not before then.

It sucks. I waited till I got married to hear my wife (now ex) tell me she loved me and it still didn't work out. I'll never be making that mistake again...EVER!
