I'm an albanian, proud of being one.And I invite you to visit it!It's like nothing you have experienced till now!Find some one he or she and next year vacationes in Albania!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Albania is a country which has always kept a low profile so a lot of people don't know enough about Albania to really say whether they like it or not. Even people I've met from Bosnia and Croatia (the former Yugoslavia) right next door don't know much about the country.
Strangely, Albania had a good relationship with China in the 1960's and 70's. However later, their ruler Communist Enver Hoxha, had a falling out with the Chinese. This was partly because the Chinese leaders told him that their country's border clashes with Vietnam were none of his business and he took offense to it.
China was probably the closest thing to a good friend that the Albanians ever had in the international community. The Greeks and Italians seem to have mixed feelings about the Albanians. They accept some Albanian immigrants but turn back many more at the same time.

Anyway I'm not sure I do like Albania because of the situation there but I don't doubt that it is probably a beautiful place. Albanian mafia is a bad reputation for this country though.

I liked it more than I expected to, especially the coastal areas in the South. I worked in Durres years ago.
