do any of you know of a yorkie breeder in ohio that i can call? i tried looking on the net and so far all are scammers i looked on petfinders but i cant find a yorkie breeder or rescue in ohio. anyone have any help?

absolutely!! go to AKC.org.. get the contact information for yorkshire terrier club of america etc. contact them ,, the will be more than helpful in directing you to numerous reputable breeders in your area.... petfinders if for backyard breeders and puppy mills good for you for rejecting this idea.. AKC is your answer good luck.... i just check www.ytca.org go there and start your query..... i am not promoting the AKC just use their site to gain contact names,,, actually the YORKSHIRE TERRIER CLUB OF AMERICA is made up of people devoted to this breed... you will get all the info you need from them (ytca.org) never never never go to the newspaper ( backyard breeders with no experience)

Do not fall for The AKC stuff either.Think about this ,now who would know a person that has a gorgeous ,perfect mate for your baby?Some one who has really done all the things AKC claims they do?well here is the only way to find the truth of this mater.Call your local vets and ask them for known by him people who do what they say they do with their dogs.Just because they are AKC doesn't mean anything .He will know who has DNA,Genetic Testing,Regular check ups "Standard" to the Breed.Check in and around your area and then visit the owner and check them out as well.Good Luck!!!
