Jesus, himself states in Matthew 7:13, 14, "Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it."
Nowhere does he say all roads lead to heaven. Actually, only a limited number go to heaven. Many, many more will be on the cramped road leading to life on a paradise earth as originally purposed (though there will be many...a great crowd...it is still few in comparison to those choosing the broad, spacious path. Those will have their lives destroyed (not tortured and tormented in hell).

Yes. It is narrow and this causes a lot of protest from those on the "wide road." They are forever saying things like, "Well I'm a good person!!" and "There are many ways to God/Heaven!" And "If God is good then why would He send people to Hell?!!"
The narrow road is not trying to be good or even going to church on Sunday or being nice to people. The narrow road is Jesus Christ - giving yourself to Him and following Him. Making Him your Master and obeying Him. When you do that the other stuff will fall into line. But the narrow road is not difficult to journey on, it's impossible !!! Impossible by your own strenth that is. You need Him to give you His GRACE & strength to do it & He will. The narrow road leads to eternal life and that life is extremely wide and BIG and expansive while the wide road leads to eternal death which is extremely painful and narrow and aweful. (God doesn't want anyone to go there! Which is why He made a way. Jesus is the way!!)

yes, Unfortunately. Many people will take the wide raod because they think it is easier. Some people just put salvation off until it is too late. Christains don't have it easy. Many people don't want to go through ridicule. In the Bible it says many times that the road to destruction is wide and the road to eternal life is narrow. If you want to see this read the Bible.

In one way the road is narrow because most people will not go to heaven.
But the road (as pictured in the door the the tabernacle - 30 ft wide, over half the width of that side) is wide enough to let EVERYONE in if they would choose to go.

Yes I do believe it. Many will go to hell because of Free Will. They "choose" not following Jesus because being a Christian isn't easy. (Jesus never said it would be) It's not easy living in a fishbowl when you aren't a fish. People watch us all the time waiting for us to slip up and make a mistake instead of turning to Jesus for salvation.

Yes, I do believe that more people will be going to hell rather than Heaven.

that's a rather philosophical and mystical question to answer. I'd say the "needle of heaven" is very thin, but realistically it means that being good is a lot harder than giving into temptation.
Just be good and try not to worry about the mystical implications too much. They are unbecomming.

All roads lead to heaven. Only some are straight and some go all the way around. But love will eventually save us all.

yes. It is very easy to do what is easy or what feels good rather than to do what is right and hard at times. Life is about choices and it is up to all of us to make the righ ones. Good or bad.
